Im going to keep urging people to sign up. If we get 20,000 people that would be $2,000,000. That should be our goal!! and it would make great publicity right before Philly. Let everyone you know, we will never see someone like Ron Paul EVER agian, this is the last chance, our last shout out as free individuals, lets make our voices heard!!!!!

Agreed. 20.000 is very doable, especually now that Ron Paul is excited* about the effort!

I'm hoping for 20,000 myself. It will be a huge story if Paul gets 2 million in a day. In fact, it will be a huge story if Paul gets 1 million in a day! I'll be happy with one million by 10,000 supporters.

We need myspace celebrities. They have hundreds of thousands of "friends." Models, actors, bands, etc.

Does any one know the biggest one day fundraising total for a Presidential candidate?

Now that's a good question!!

I saw Giuliani had just over $1M on Sept 30. Althought that was probably their campaign processing a lot of bag log.

We'll easily crush that number!

LOL "back log" as bag log....freudian slip or intentional inference of "bag money"?

I think Mitt Romney actually has the highest one-day donation. Yes I meant for that to be singular. ;)

That was only 1,500 rich people ($2300 each). If we had 15,000 $2300 donations we would have over $30 million

Besides, the online single-day record is $3 million set by John Kerry...we can break that

I say aim for 35,000

Don't you all feel the electrical flow in the air?
Can't hardly wait for Nov. 5th. Maybe I can get back to doing my other interests and stay away from the computer for AWHILE. Ha

Yes, I am so hoping it will be higher than we are expecting. In other words, I'm hoping that many more donate than have signed up. That's actually a low number considering how many people are in Meetups and are MySpace friends.

We'll have around 5 million dollars by November 12, after Veterns day, I'm predicting. That will barely get us up to speed. Hopefully the donations will start to pick up with the amount of new people the ads are bringing in. We really need those 12 million dollars!

agreed. We need NEW donors period. New donors = new voices = new voters.
