Those of us in the Creative Force Meetup are planning a nationwide event on December 16 to celebrate the Boston Tea Party. We want to share with everyone Ron Paul's messages of eliminating the income tax and restoring the Constitution!

We're seeking your commitment to making this event a success, and the commitment of your group to chip in to purchase a very unique marketing item. *** WE NEED YOUR RESPONSE NO LATER THAN NOVEMBER 8 TO MEET PRODUCTION DEADLINES! *** Since the 16th is a Sunday during the holiday season, we have an incredible opportunity to reach voters throughout the country in shopping districts, around malls and in other high-traffic areas.

The idea is this: hand out custom Ron Paul 'symbolic' tea packets (see product here (http://www.branders.com/catalog/product_detail_ia.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=581069&FOLDER%3C%3EbrowsePath=81783&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=81783&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=79659&bmUID=1193297808645&setdefault=Y), and the design here (http://photos1.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/a/9/d/4/highres_2503476.jpeg)) and literature to holiday shoppers. Those in the north may even want to serve coffee and tea to cold customers! The serving-size tea bags start at 34 cents, but with enough commitments we can reduce this to 18 cents each! A minimum commitment of 1,000 is required, and a larger size mall on the Sunday before the holiday week is going to have at least 15-20,000 voting age adults present.

Some malls may be willing to allow us closer to the doors (especially if we're serving free things), while others may require us to be in public areas. An example might be an intersection where cars enter/exit the mall (and traffic is sure to be backed up). Talk with your local malls, or find other high-traffic areas that will work better. Either way it allows us to reach a huge market right before the critical primary season.

Please write to me at teaparty4rp@gmail.com to let me know your interest and to notify me of how many tea packets you will be requesting. At 18 cents each it's an easy, inexpensive and unique way to reach voters.

Plan is to have the tea scheduled for delivery the 12th or 13th in case there are any shipping problems. This production schedule is about as tight as we can get.

Need 5-7 business days for ground shipping which puts us to Dec 4 ...
Need 14 business days for production which puts us to Nov 12 (includes skipping 2 days for Thanksgiving) ...
Need 1 day to finalize order and get artwork approved which puts us at Nov 8!

Why don't we plan another mass donation instead? It will get more media attention....

If it wouldn't be environmentally unsound and against the law (of course, heh, that's what rebellions are all about, am I right?) I'd suggest dumping tax forms into bodies of water.

Ugh ... because we have GOT to get out into the real world and talk to voters!!

Here's the point that's being missed -- if we're just continuing to count on the same 100,000 people to donate to a campaign, sooner or later there is no more money to give. We have to work on acquiring new voters, and sometimes that requires talking to them.

Feel free to spend your time focusing on another donation if you like, but meetup groups are planning to be out around the country talking to *real live human beings* on the 16th. You know, the ones who are not on a computer all day.

Yes ... we went through this conversation about 2 weeks ago ...

Everyone -- please inform your meetup group organizers if you haven't done so already about this event. We do need ballpark commitments of number of tea packets that will be purchased no later than November 8th to meet the production deadline.

Please contact me through here or at teaparty4rp@gmail.com. Thanks!!!

You should hand out tea packets on November 15th FOR November 16th. Having everyone out for the day we are suppose to donate is not wise.
