"When times get tough, they go to the gold." --Ron Paul

When times get tough, they go to Ron Paul. As much as I hate to say this, the worse the economy gets, the more people will turn to Ron Paul and free market economics.

The Keynesians bailed out banks to the tune of trillions of dollars and they failed. The socialists spent trillions more in stimulus money and it failed. QE1 and QE2 have failed and Helicopter Ben has no idea what to do.

It's Ron Paul's time.

Ron Paul is so awesome, he appears on August 11, 2011, when it is only August 10.

I kind of lol'ed when Ron Paul's last word was "money" when the guy mentions "I don't know how you get to the top."

Hopefully a lot of people went and donated to his campaign after this interview.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I do believe that this is The Week that Ron Paul takes his place as a Recognized Front-Runner in the 2012 GOP Primary.

I think your right,on Fox news this morning they said RP was the surprise front runner in the Iowa straw poll.I actually think he has a chance.......

Yep, RP needs to keep on emphasizing to the audience how this devaluation of the US dollar is stealing from the people, inflation by whatever means, and vast instabilities across the country. High Unemployment, High Under-Employment, Record Unemployment recipients and durations, Millions dropped off the Bureau of Labor Statistics to make the "fudged" numbers look better for government. Minimum wage nation... etc.

The people's savings rates are less than the true rate of inflation cause by THE FED and Washington DC. How 0% rates by THE FED are not helping retired people, conservative investors and senior citizens who are losing money to the FEDERAL RESERVE's induced policies of INFLATION. Are people going to gamble their retirement funds and savings in these US markets that are daily like a Pendulum on a Roller Coaster? THE FED & Washington DC have committed complete instability through reckless experiemntal policies that don't work at the taxpayer's expense.

For Bernake, if gold is not money, then why does the world run to it for safety/security when the Central Banks manipulate the currencies by devaluation of them?

FOX BIZ had Peter Schiff on at 1:15PM EST/10:15AM PST and the Judge followed up 10 minutes later... segment "FEDERAL RESERVE: TAXATION by INFLATION" :D

Maybe, but I think it was more along the lines of the guy knowing what he is up against.

Just watched it. Def not meant as slap in face.

Exactly, I kind of took it as backhanded support rather than a slap in the face. Like this guy knows he's talking to the best man for the job but he knows what Ron Paul is up against in trying to take the Presidency back from the establishment. Sounded like a pessimist Paul supporter, "best man for the job but he'll never get elected" & all that jazz.

Did he really say Ron Paul is not a gold investor? I think the point was that he doesn't invest for other people. He's not in the finance business, he's a congressman.

Good interview. Anyone who doesn't recognize Ron Paul as the most knowledgeable candidate on the economy is simply a bubblehead. Could Perry or Bachmann drop quality information like Dr. Paul just did there? No way.
