He predicted the housing bubble, he's against the war, against TARP, against torture, and the war on drugs. He's just like Dennis Kucinich, a principled leftist.

Maybe he's not perfect, but he's someone we can work with on most issues.

Krugman loves the donkey so much that it fried his rather impressive analytical skills:

He worships the state and thinks pretty much all good things come from it. He wishes for more government power, more stimulus, money printing, etc

He pretty much stands for everything I'm against.

That's why I hate him anyway.

Really?

I don’t, in the end, have much more to say about the plan. It passes my test of no equity, no deal; that, plus the danger of financial panic if it doesn’t go through, makes it worth passing (http://krugman.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/09/28/the-world-according-to-tarp/), though celebration is not in order.

Why is the OP such a liar?

Why does the OP feel compelled to defend people without having a clue about who they are or do?

Why doesn't the OP go troll somewhere else?

Krugman is a bad bad economist. He wanted a trillion $ stimulus. Hes a fascist who believes that people who dont worship govt like him should be censored. Economist like him are the only reason ideas like "we need to accumulate more debt in order to reduce the debt" even exist. He is a disgrace to economics.

Krugman is a waste of life. He's like that character Ellsworth Toohey from The Fountainhead. All he does is spew communist bullshit and crap economics.

Krugman's brand of collectivism is the biggest threat to our movement.

He ADVOCATED in favor of creating the housing bubble before he "predicted" it....Krugman's Communist style economics is why USA is going down the toilet.... read http://www.TomatoBubble.com

This is correct. Here is a quote from a august 2002 article:

The basic point is that the recession of 2001 wasn't a typical postwar slump, brought on when an inflation-fighting Fed raises interest rates and easily ended by a snapback in housing and consumer spending when the Fed brings rates back down again. This was a prewar-style recession, a morning after brought on by irrational exuberance. To fight this recession the Fed needs more than a snapback; it needs soaring household spending to offset moribund business investment. And to do that, as Paul McCulley of Pimco put it, Alan Greenspan needs to create a housing bubble to replace the Nasdaq bubble.

Link to the NY times article:

http://www.nytimes.com/2002/08/02/opinion/dubya-s-double-dip.html

He was one of the biggest cheerleaders behind greenspan lowering rates and creating a housing bubble. Of course he predicited it....HE FREAKING WANTED ONE!!! When that didn't work and it imploded he then advocated for a stimulus. Well...they passed the stimulus and all it did was add more debt. Then he claims "it wasn't big enough". Why do people still listen to this guy?

He is furious with S&P for downgrading US$. That, in itself, is worthy of contempt!

PS It is so wearisome this troll accusation thing when someone asks questions. Live and let live.

A newbie comes on here and asks a question and he gets attacked. Totally uncool.
