How so? They are government employees. When governmental actions have caused the economy to implode, they do NOT deserve a raise. Which, of course, is why Congress voted themselves automatic pay increases. Because when they had to vote on it every year, Americans were ticked and didn't want them to get it.

It is a simple matter of rewarding performance. They have failed. In private industry, that would mean they would be fired. They sure as hell don't deserve raises up to 80%.

Don't worry... all these people will go on to get enormous salaries in the private sector from the contacts they are making now. You know, the private plane owning, corporate thieves these same people are now attacking and vilifying. Or, maybe just a lobbying position so they can suck the last drops of blood out of the American economy. :(

Maybe Gorge Soros will hire them in his new version of America and pay them properly for the great job they are doing.
