Politico: Rick Perry May Annouce Saturday in SC

On the front of Politico (on a smartphone, so no link available), the top story is that Perry will announce he is running for President this Saturday at the RedState convention in SC, followed by a visit to NH.

TPTB are terrified that Ron may win Ames and hit 15-20% nationally so Perry appears to be jumping in that day to create a distraction. Check the last line of the article, which suggests that mainstream conservatives are looking for someone who is "electable". Uggh.
