Those waterboarding goons don't care what quality of intelligence they get out of their captives, and they don't care that American blood and money will get spent on the wild goose chases that torture-extracted confessions will lead to.

Maybe waterboarding victims will survive-- but Americans will definitely die on missions based on false "information" extracted by torture.

Thanks for posting that.

I don't like to condemn people because of the ideas they hold; people can honestly hold all kinds of ideas that are incredibly destructive when put into practice. But we as Americans knew -- just a few years ago -- that torture is evil and un-American. No one can have forgotten this. Anyone who advocates it now is complicit in that evil, and is evil in proportion the degree of their advocacy.
