First, anyone who paid attention to the general election in 2008 can tell you that social networking played a part in Obama's successful political rout. It also played a bigger part in 2010, when the Tea Party threw itself into the spotlight as the GOP seized the House and made gains across America. It's a great communication device and an information one, as well. It has multiple benefits and is very popular, especially among the political community.

So why doesn't the campaign use it much? I follow all the campaign accounts and Paul's is probably the least active of them all. Part of boosting your followers and getting your message out there on one of the most popular social networking sites, is being quite active. I don't see it often from them.

Hopefully, since they evidently read the boards, the campaign will catch this. We need to be advancing on all fronts. Social networking, included.

Rant over.
