I love Goulsby's "WTF you aren't supposed to tell people that" face.

There's nothing like finally admitting it. Great soundbite, that's for sure. :)

Thank goodness! An easy and painless solution to our overspending and national debt. We just print up 20 or so $1,000,000,000.00 bills and use them to pay off our debt. Problem solved!

What could possibly go wrong?

Everyone sitting at that table is completely out of touch. Let's sit here and point fingers at each other's party and blame this on bi-partisanship. Meanwhile, Greenspan just told you how we got into this mess. I can't believe nobody even attempted a discussion on that fact. wow.

Greenspan is only telling the truth.. This is exactly what geithner and the Bernack are thinking. Greenspan wasn't all bad during his time as Fed Chairman(at least as far as Fed chairmen go). AG was also an admirer of Ayn Rand, and while there were several contradictions between Rand's philosophy and the very job this man held, he wasn't all bad. It wasn't until the tech bubble burst and derivitive schemes were exposed that he took a more hands on approach to his position.

While no FED, and no FED chair would be optimal.. The Ben Bernack makes Greenie look like a full on libertarian.

Greenspan is probably the worst in history but Bernanke is giving him a run for his money. Quite literally.

I respectfully disagree.. My intentions aren't to defend Greenspan but to point out how awful the Bernack really is.

I've always taken Greenspan as somebody who knew better but always just buckled under pressure to do the wrong thing.

Here's hoping Ron Paul will use the Greenspan quote in one of the many questions he is asked at the Ames debate this Thursday.
