Some of us value their privacy enough to try to avoid tracking cookies being placed on their computer, when possible. Youtube is supposedly one of the worst sites for this. If a video is embedded here, I'll probably watch it. If part of a story is copied and pasted here, I'll read it. Otherwise, I probably won't. If it isn't viewable or readable right here at RPF, it probably isn't worth viewing or reading. YMMV.
