It's only a key event if Ron Paul is not the winner, though. ;)

That was actually a fair article with good Paul coverage. They used the words "fervent supporters" and it was about Huckabee, not Ron!

They already said on Fox that if he wins, whose in 2d is what is important....

No explanation for why he's different....

Wow, Bachmann is short

She's just a tad shorter than Paul. It doesn't surprise me too much that she is the shortest of the candidates.

Looks like she comes up to below Ron's ear - so...what, 6 or 7 inches? Then, she's wearing heels.... I don't know how tall she is, but that's more than a tad difference...

Paul is also closer to the camera, both in the right to left and front to back perspective. Take that into consideration instead of just drawing a line from her head to others in the picture.

Paul is definitely taller than her...

on second thought... haha, just messing with you, but their heights aren't that different.

It still looks like 5-6 inches, plus her heels, to me

The money quotes, IMHO.

Next week he is setting out on a two-day swing through the state with son Rand, a U.S. senator. The Paul campaign is proclaiming the visit as the first known instance of an incumbent congressman campaigning for the presidency with his son, an incumbent senator.

A top Republican operative in Iowa, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told ABC News, "I think Ron Paul or Tim Pawlenty is going to win this thing, and Bachmann is going to come in a disappointing third. Church groups and home-schoolers have not all coalesced around her campaign like they did for Huckabee last time. And her campaign hasn't figured that out yet. They don't know what kind of trouble they're in. If they don't figure this out in the next 10 days, then I think this could be the beginning of the end for her."

Pawlenty's campaign, the source said, "knows what they're doing." And Paul's approach could resonate with voters because they saw him in Iowa four years ago talking about the nation's debt problem.

"I think that Paul's team has a plan and they're executing it flawlessly," continued the source. "He's got the credibility that even someone like Bachmann does not – because he's been saying this for years and years in some of the same ballrooms he's speaking in right now."

My favorite comment:

I got a feeling a about Ron Paul, I saw through Obama but this guys record speaks for itself, he's legit and I think America is ready for some real leadership. I think he's a shoe in for Ames which is probably why Romney pulled out. Then it's game on between Paul an Romney, Romney can win over the corporations support / Ron can win over the people's.
