If you are talking about Lynchburg VA, I lived there last year. I helped get a YAL group off the ground at Liberty University. I can try to find some contacts.

We had a meetup group for 2.5 years, but most folks were watchers and not doers. A handful simply can't handle RP's foreign policy and went over to the Tea Party where they fit in better. There's a handful of us here. I eventually cancelled the meetup group to focus on connecting through C4L's website, but then they made some major changes and I've had trouble accessing our district page. We have been working with C4L and the Tea Party mostly on local issues. Basically, speaking for myself (former grassroots 6th CD co-coordinator), I've got work, school, and a young family to manage. I donate a lot of cash, but don't have time for recruiting. There's a few folks around though. We're kind of waiting for the right time to start some paint parties. Send me a PM if you want to hook up.
