This is very true. They always have a reason for why they know what is best for us. Just give them more power and they will fix all our problems. They believe as though we are robots or computers that can be programmed to act a certain way. As though we are just a number on a graph that they can plot out our outcomes as though our behaviors can be predicted. They are then clueless and dumbfounded when their plans that sounded good on paper never come to fruition. They don't understand that we are actually human and not some number in a algebraic equation. This is why when socialism eventually fails they claim it just wasn't implemented correctly or when their keynesian economic policies fail they claim that the amount of money spent was just not enough or it would have been worse if we did nothing. That in order for us to succeed we needed to be free to make our own choices...good and bad. We needed to fail sometimes to make us stronger. Right now we are doing the exact opposite of what our founders would have wanted. The dates may have changed but human behavior has not. The same thing that is happening to this country is the same thing that has happened to other great empires and civilizations. History is repeating itself and not only that there is a large number of people who actually recognize this and are being labeled terrorists. That is the key. I don't know why Americans think that they have it any different than what others went through throughout history. Why can't America become a totalitarian state? Why can't the American government slaughter millions of its citizens (like the Hopis prophesied)?
