ChipIn to help Ron Paul photographer go to Iowa

Before a certain user copy/pastes their speal about the campaign not wanting people from outside of Iowa to go the straw poll, ;) I want to preface this message by saying that I will not be doing any sort of GOTV efforts, or corresponding with media or voters in Iowa. So please spare yourself the hard work of copying and pasting the same message into this thread. I will soley be going to take photos, in order to provide the freedom movement with license-free and non-copyrighted images of Ron Paul. That has been my only goal every time I have asked for assistance from RPF, and it will be the only goal this time as well.

I have been planning on heading to Iowa for the straw poll, and will be going, hopefully with the help of Ron Paul Forums. I went to Iowa back in late March, early April, and attended several Ron Paul, and Rand Paul, events, and provided more than three hundred photos from various events that I attended while I was there.

Armed with my new lens, which I was able to get thanks to the generous people here on Ron Paul Forums, I hope to go back to Iowa, in order to provide the liberty movement with more photos that can be used free of licensing fees, and copyright issues, which many ran into this past week with the grassroots ad for the Ames straw poll. So I am asking for your help. The only expense I will have is the airplane ticket, (and the ChipIn does not cover the entire cost of it, but I will make do with what I have set up the ChipIn for.)

Gage does fantastic work. Probably the only out of staters who should go are semi to professional videographers and photographers--or if the official campaign contacts you.

Alas, I think I could pull off some great video work...but I'm low on funds too! I will only go if someone wants me to be part of a team to do something meaningful. Let me know if I can be used:

If people still want to donate, that's fine by me. I just set the goal at $250 as something I thought people would be willing to donate towards filling quickly. If people still want to donate, even $20.12, that'd would be great. Especially since the airplane ticket is more than what I was asking for. But if not, that's fine too I guess..

Gage... ask for more next time. Its no fun scrimping and you need some overhead to function efficiently.
And, for what its worth, I think this is one of the most deserving efforts we could support.

I've raised the goal to $325. It is still going to the same trip, and it would help even more if you, or someone else, would be able to donate. I'm actually to the point where I don't currently have the money to pay the rest of the airplane ticket, I would be paying it back later, so the more money now, the more it helps. Please don't hesitate to donate if you were planning on doing so.
