What I'm hoping is the left-right coalition comes together to crush the centrists in the House.

And when that happens and it can be shown such a force can come together to protect the nation, then Ron Paul, who is the epitome of such a coalition, can be nominated.

They will have an all nighter before the deadline and hammer out a piece of crap. Probably do what they said in here to get tea partier look-a-likes (have an attachment for an outside up or down vote on the balanced budget amendment) which of course will get easily defeated. then they will all go back to their mansions and the people will forget all about it and wait for the next crisis to prove how dumb they are.

Looks like Boehner/GOP got the two-phase budget deal idea accepted, Obama-Barry got his "new committee" or super Congress started, and Tea Party holdouts got a commitment for THIS Congress to perform spending cuts, instead of kicking it to future Congresses who will not honor past deals. So everybody is supposed to be happy.

Meanwhile, the current bottom line is that there will be increased debt, deficits, taxes and a PROMISE of spending cuts to come. IAW, same as it ever was.
