They have something planned for Iowa Straw Poll.

They need it to be rented or sold to them. Please contact me.

contact this place and see if they are making more:

http://benandhank.com/ben/

they are currently sold out. If not, ask if they sold any to costume shops that would be available for rental.

I did find an article about them being a hot seller and selling out. It stated they would be making more after Halloween.

Suggestions:
They are probably RP supporters, so could probably be talked into making one more or loaning one of their personal masks for the straw poll.

Since they will be making and selling more - offer to print up and make available pre-order forms for the masks at the fair with a loaner mask.

Put out a query across here, DP, Facebook and and Meetup for a loaner - surely some RP supporters own some of these. You might also ask Adam K if he would put out a plea for a loaner on his show.

Or not...

Since we're trying to be considered a serious campaign...

It's actually pretty brilliant. I'm fairly certain this is for a ********. A county fair in PA did something similar at the peak of Obamacare being argued and it was the most popular booth at the entire fair.

It also drives home where we stand and Paul's positions. Great conversation starter too, if someone isn't familiar with the FED and fiscal policy.

If that's the case... they better hang a sign around his neck that has his name and title... otherwise, I doubt most people will get the reference (they may not recognize him). Some End the Fed handouts would be apropos as well.

I was dubious at first about the mask requests... but, the ******* idea might be cute and go over well if handled properly.

I wouldn't want to speculate about what it is for since clearly they are trying to keep it a surprise.

I talked to somebody on the campaign and can confirm it is not a guillotine.

I thought it was pretty obvious after the last campaign that running around in masks just made us look like a bunch of kids and tended to irritate people instead of make them think.

Campaign still needs a Ben Bernanke mask by next week. Any help guys? I'm not sure why either but someone high up wants one. No its not a joke the campaign person knows what she's doing.

Have the person with the mask hold a sign saying "Please don't vote for Ron Paul. He's the only one who will stop my devaluing of the dollarl" ;)

If they are unable to find a latex mask, perhaps they would settle for one of these:

Really simple, but rather effective photo-on-paperbag mask:

More difficult:
Create a "papercraft" head. Requires experience with a modeling program and an imaging editor. Also, an unfolding program called Pepakura. (Or maybe they can just hire one of these guys to do it?)

There are companies out here (L.A.) that make masks to order, too, but if anything is going to be done custom, it had better be fast.

Horns? I think it's best if we stuck to "not incredibly anti-Semitic."

Agreed. I can't imagine mocking Bernanke will bring many undecided voters over to our side. Many people probably sympathize with him as someone who is doing the best he can under tough circumstances.

I have been told by the campaign that the issue has been settled. Weather that resolution was to have one to use or not, I do not know.

what does this have to do with anti-Semitic? Paulson's has horns, too. Although for all I know either or neither is Semitic

Bernanke is Jewish and Paulson is a Jew who converted to Christian Science. It's common in anti-Semitic imagery to depict Jews as having devil horns, in order to depict their alleged Satan-worship. If the Ron Paul people were running around in these masks, expect editorials in major national newspapers describing the Ron Paul campaign's "Nazi-like imagery." The sad thing is that they would be perfectly justified in doing so.

They wouldn't be remotely justified. Anger at Bernanke and Paulson has nothing to do with their religion and everything to do with how they exercise their profession.

I didn't even know they were Jewish, and I didn't care, and don't care, if they are.

I understand that people aren't angry at Paulson and Bernanke because they're Jewish, but if people are going to be running around in public at official Ron Paul campaign events wearing horned Bernanke and Paulson masks (when both are Jewish), that is what everyone will quite reasonably assume. It's the equivalent of "dressing up like Obama" in this way:

No it isn't. People use 'devil' imagery to invoke 'evil' in all kinds of contexts, I don't think at all it is more attributed to Jewish people than to anyone else anyone doesn't like. That black face, on the other hand, is ONLY used for blacks.
