So at this moment, McConnell is supposedly collaborating with Harry Reid and Obama on a "solution." Now will the 10 to 13 senators including our favorite son be willing to filibuster the likely non-BBA based type of legislation to be crafted from these behind-door dealings? We all knew from the beginning at the core that Rand and McConnell could not co-exist in the long run. Mitch is and always has been an establishment hack who rubberstamped all of Bush 2's horrendous policy gaffes.

Interesting that Obama called out Rand on twitter the other day. They are keenly aware who can throw a monkeywrench in all this. Rand, being Rand, responded to El Presidente:

If anyone was wondering if all that effort to get Rand elected did anything, there is your proof right there. Tied (with Gunny) for the best campaign donation I ever made.

CNN has been spitting racist innuendo all day mainly directed at the Tea Party - specifically Rand Paul. 'If we don't raise the debt ceiling than minorities get hurt more than whites'. They keep parading a ' new study' just released (perfect timing) that states white house holds make 20 times more than black households. What blatant propaganda - CNN must have a news desk in the oval office when the talking points are written.

They interviewed Rand and it was a blatant hit job...

Driving racial division to help get the debt ceiling raised so the Washington crack whores can keep spending... What a despicable spectacle.

"I care more about our country's future than I do about a deal. This town is all about deals. I want a solution to the nation's problem," he said.

I have said this over and over and over - and you know what? We WON in 2008 because is led to Rand in the Senate. Winning!

Not to take anything away from Rand, who is the very definition of awesomeness, but Obama actually sent out a similar twitter message for about a dozen or more senators and representatives. In fact he sent out so many of these that he lost several thousand twitter followers who probably found the onslaught of tweets annoying.

@BarackObama Its hard to take advice frm someone w/o a plan. Compromise is to raise #debt ceiling w/ #BBAmdt. Where is your compromise?
