This "MoneyBomb" is a response to that call to action. However, it's not just the MB that's important! We also need to focus on the week-long push. That gives us extra time to urge those who support Dr. Paul and his campaign to donate before the Ames straw poll on the 13th.

We have to put ourselves into overdrive NOW and promote this! We have until August 2nd at midnight to promote the MB and then still throughout the week we need to urge supporters to donate during the PUSH so as the campaign can have everything they need for and immediately after Ames!!!!

This has been in discussion now for over a day already and everyone seems to agree that this should be what we do in light of the campaign's recent letter asking for an influx of funds in order to better prepare for Ames.

For those who were waiting for August 20th, that is simply too late if we are to give the campaign what they are asking for.

Whether or not you favor this date, PLEASE. We don't have the luxury of waiting any longer due to the campaign's timely call for donations.

I really hope the facebook pages and Daily Paul pick up on this event come tomorrow afternoon.. Otherwise, we will continue to have a hell of a hard time promoting this outside RPF without their help. :(

I've done everything I can. This is organized on the forums now, we just need it to be established by outside sources like DP and the RP2012/RPMBHQ facebook pages... It will be a load off my mind when a FB event is created and the thousands of people are invited just like all the other moneybombs..

This has nothing to do with the official campaign. It was a spontaneous reaction to their call for more money.

But yes, as you stated, we need the major RP outlets like Daily Paul and on facebook to pick this up or it will simply be an event of this forum...

IDK why the other RP outlets aren't helping with this... It's rather disappointing..
