The answer is: The 2012 candidate with the most integrity and the most intelligent ideas to save America.

FYI: I didn't get a clip, and couldn't find one on the web, but "Ron Paul" was the answer to a question today on Jeopardy, mentioning his 1988 Libertarian presidential run. Be cool to post it and let it go viral if anyone recorded it by chance...

Figures.

They have to brainwash the masses that hes some scary imposter running on the Republican ticket.

Well, he basically is. He is certainly no Republican if you judge that by their actions over the past many decades.

Actually, he's the only one who is congruent with the Republican platform.

That's like his second or third mention on that show. I suspect we might have us a supporter in the staff.

The Republicans aren't Republicans if you judge their actions over the past many decades. I think that's what you were probably saying anyways.

Also, looks like there have been at least a few instances where the Paul's have shown up on Jeopardy, as far as I know:

1) Air Date - 5/2/08: "People for $800: 'This physician ran for President as a Libertarian in 1988 & as a Republican in 2008,'" http://www.vimeo.com/27079654 (Thanks to Conza for uploading!)

2) See Post #12 within this thread for a screenshot of the question from 6/29/11: "In 1988 this now-Texas Congressman got more than 400,000 votes running for President as a Libertarian," (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?305771-quot-Who-is-Ron-Paul-quot-the-correct-question-on-today-s-Jeopardy/page2).

3) Also a Google search led me to a youtube page of a purported clip where both Ron & Rand were mentioned, but apparently it had been removed.

Ron Paul supporters seem to have a unique talent for taking everything as a negative/attack. Based on the cap of the Jeopardy answer, there was nothing negative about it. In fact the language was completely positive. It said as a Libertarian in 1988 he got more than 400,000 votes. Would you rather it say something about him being a "longshot" Republican who finished a "distant 3rd" in the 2008 Primaries, due to attrition, and raised a lot of money, but got no votes? Would that be better because it attached him to Republican ( which has a more negative connotation than libertarian to many mainstream people, though I admit that doesn't help in GOP primaries)?
