If 23 Republicans vote NO on his bill, he won't be able to pass it. Will Tea Party Republicans stand firm?

Not necessarily because some dems are missing, which means the threshold to pass it will be lowered.

In some form, of course it will.

The can will be kicked down the road a little farther, we'll get approved for another credit card and go on a spending spree to celebrate.

Malkin says the NO coalition has increased.

Now 25

I don't think Boehner can win if there are 25 NO's. He might be able to with 24 though.

I dont think this bill will pass.

Which will mean that Boehner is not Pelosi. That witch could have brought slavery back if she had set her mind to it. I hate everything about her, but she's a powerful leader.

This whole Liberty thing is going to be one hell of an uphill battle.

Hey! Hey! Hey!

Lighten up a little.

It's not Will. It's John A.

I actually do have faith that some of the true conservatives in the House will stand firm. One thing is for sure, whatever happens:

This is one of the rare votes where you can really gauge whether someone is an honest, principled statesman – or just a regular ole politician. While I am sure there will be some honest conservatives who, for some reason or another, vote for this, the fact is, you can mark the ones that vote "no" on your good list.

Reminds me a lot of 2008, when I watched closely the initial vote on TARP (which failed the first time around), and then the second vote, and you could tell quickly who really gave a damn and who was just playing politics.

I would love to hear about Jones as it relates to redistricting... if I had to guess, that is the reason he feels the need to come along with the leadership, because of a redistricting that might hurt him and the need for party support.

It will because they can't risk shutting it down and letting people realize they are unneeded.
