Besides RP...

Come on... They go all 10th Amendment states' rights on Obamacare but for some reason can't do the same for a fucking plant??

It sickens me that the likes of Charles Rangel and Barney Frank are supporting this but NOT someone like Justin Amash.

What's going on....?

A lot of them probably just don't want to go out of their way to co-sponsor something like this when it likely won't even come up for a vote. I'm sure somebody like Justin Amash would actually vote for it if it came up for a vote.

because they are not constitutionalists or fiscal conservatives

they want the government to spend my money encouraging or enforcing what they consider to be traditional values and behaviors

But also...many of them don't seem to understand why the 18th amendment originally had to be passed in order to ban alcohol.

So, 46% of the People were correct, Congress is almost entirely corrupt (save 1 individual, whose name I think you know...). The other 54% of the People think that imposing their will onto others for the gain of a few is "Honest".

Because Republicans love big government, just in different ways than Democrats do.

And also a lot of them are tools of the corporations that would lose if pot ever became legal again.

Yup. They can call themselves "small government, pro-individual liberties" all day long just like I can say I'm black. Both very easily disproven.

Because they don't believe in the Constitution.

Plus Mike Lee and Rand.. That makes 4.

I just want to know why Amash hasn't joined Ron in co-sponsoring this legislation.. It's kind of discouraging seeing as how he is supposed to be the new RP in the House after Ron is either retired or serving as President.

Maybe the people are not calling their reps and asking them to support it.

As a grower myself, I can tell you all that most people do not want marijuana legalized...and I'm OK with that.
