I was unaware that congress used to perform the duties that the treasury does. Apparently in 1917, the congress gave the executive branch the power to form the treasury. Has Ron Paul talked about ceding this power back to the congress? I think it would be awesome to see the executive give some of its powers to the legislature. I also think it would be hilarious if the legislature refused.
