and for all I can tell they still aren't showing Ron as a first tier candidate despite being in 3rd in the poll they cite (amongst declared candidates). And there is no citation of facts which would have EVER lead them to think Pawlenty was first tier, to begin with.

You're right. Pawlenty never was a first tier candidate. That was simply a narrative that was created by the media.

In my mind Pawlenty never was a top tier candidate. He never got any traction, even with the media promoting him left and right. Hopefully a few of his supporters come our way.

You can't continue to be something that you never were.

It's because he is a governor.

It's because he is a governor.

So was Gary Johnson.

Pawlenty was put up for a Romney flank, nothing more. The guy cannot raise a dime. He is auditioning for Romney VP. Only hope we have is if Perry jumps in to zap the Romney faux frontrunner persona. Then we have a four way brawl all starting at even. Romney,Perry,Bachman and Paul.

My only fear about Perry jumping in is that the media will build him up and then dump Bachman, causing her support to go to Perry. If that were to happen, we'd basically be in the same boat (3rd with Perry, Romney, Paul instead of
Romney, Bachman, Paul). But if that does happen, hopefully Perry will be easier to topple
than Bachman. Since they're from the same state, maybe Ron will be willing to tear into him more so than the other candidates.

Many will come and go, but once the dust settles we will emerge victorious.

And yet again, Ron's not even mentioned in the article.

Id like to know who claimed him to be in the first place.

The same idiots who ordained Mittens and Bachmann as the "frontrunners?"
