well, it looks like they are paying attention.... they even know about 'operation Top Gun.... maybe they have moved to the mainstream.....

Another volunteer, who asked not to be named because he has taken a 30-day leave from the military to campaign, which is discouraged, said: “Ron Paul tells his supporters, come and support him in the straw poll, and we come because we will walk through fire to vote for Ron Paul. He speaks to us.”

Sometime I feel like I AM a cult member, because I read articles like this and tear-up.

We're going to win this - we're damn-well going to win the White House.

That is the first NYT article I've read in years. Good write-up.

Charlotte Coppess, 57, voted for Mike Huckabee, the winner, in the 2008 Iowa caucuses. Mr. Paul held no interest for her then. But she was curious to hear what he had to say here.

“I think Ron Paul is a man whose time has come,” Ms. Coppess said.
^Way to cap off the article!

I love the MSM descriptions of Ron Paul.

Fox: "Threat"

NYT: "Could" "Fringe"

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.

Wow! I can't believe the way the MSM is writing about Ron Paul now. I remember how in 2007 he was dismissed and ridiculed constantly. It's heartening to see that it's come to this point. I feel like all of the supporters have really made a difference. We've changed the tone of the debate.

They seemed to have changed the title:

old: Iowa Polling to Test Paul's Move From Fringe to Mainstream
new: Iowa Polling to Test Paul’s Move to Mainstream

I love the look on Romney's face when he comes in second to Paul

I really hope we're gunning for first place and not a "top 3 finish" because the national press could really give us some momentum.

I changed it here to match theirs.... much nicer NYTimes.. although the print version seems like it'll have the original headline:

"A version of this article appeared in print on July 27, 2011, on page A13 of the New York edition with the headline: Iowa Polling to Test Paul’s Move From Fringe to Mainstream."

Representative Ron Paul has a message for the ardent followers who read his books with a highlighter
I totally do and I encourage those I loan his books out to, to do the same. ie: I request they come back with additional highlights.

Well, that's still tomorrow so it's possible that they'll change the print headline as well. I'm just amazed that the NYT is publishing an article like this on page A13. Very good press.

"I think Ron Paul is a man whose time has come."

Of course I do! But this is actually the first time I've posted it on these forums, I think.

What the hell more can you say to that?

Really.

This is my favorite line in the whole article:

When asked how Mr. Paul, a 75-year-old former obstetrician who still has the manner of a folksy country doctor, speaks to a much younger generation, many cite his decades as a Cassandra warning about ruinous federal debt.

That I feel like an ass for not being there after reading that.

Is there anything people that are not in Iowa can do?

Well..to be fair to the NYT's, they wrote about RP back in 2007. Don't you remember that fabulous article titled "Hobo's for Ron Paul"? It had pics of the hobo's and all back then .

What the Globalist NY Times is doing is signalling the Elite Insiders that the silent treatment tactic is no longer viable. Expect the smear machine to kick in to high gear when Ron wins Ames Straw Poll.

get ready gang. This is about to get real interesting.

The best thing about this video is the people. They are true supporters of freedom and liberty... true leaders in the field. Most of them are still working hard to win. They are not the only ones who were all in as there are many who are behind the scenes doing most some excellent work. But the video is an awesome representation of Ron Paul supporters!

Ron Paul 2012!
I am proud to be among you.
