Breaking: After a CBO score that came in too low with savings, Boehner spox announces they'll "rewrite the legislation to meet our pledge."

Here's new CBO scoring

http://www.cbo.gov/ftpdocs/123xx/doc12336/HouseBudgetControlAct.pdf

The CBO scores the ten year deficit reduction as $851 billion, not $1.1 trillion.

Boehner's bill saves only 1 billion in 2012.

Ried's saves 2 billion in 2012

Here is the year by year "savings" of the Boehner plan.

-1 (2012) (ya only 1 billion in 2012)
-16 (2013)
-57 -(2014)
73 -85 -96 -109 -123 -138 -153

I an tired of their BS "cuts 1.1 TRILLION" but that is over ten years and less than 1% goes into effect before the people voting on it are up for re-election again.

No more "ten year plans".

I only want to hear about cuts that are effective before you are next up for election. All the rest are empty promises and are not binding on the next congress. It seems like a growing number are on to their games.

Not 1.1 trillion though. CBO says 851 billion.
