I along with a few other supporters walked in the Elkhart County 4H Fair Parade. With me, we had 5 people walking, which isn't that many. But we were the only presidential campaign to be represented! We got permission to walk with the GOP, and put signs on the county float! The response we got from the other walkers was mixed, some were quite friendly and supportive, but a few where pretty much livid that we showed up. We handed out a few handouts and bumper stickers along the route.
Here are a couple of pics:

We hope to get a float ready, new banners printed up, and we know we can get more walkers for future parades. The R3VOLUTION continues! (In Indiana...;))

Awesome job! I especially like that you walked with the GOP and had signs on their float. Great way to win over traditional Republicans. Thanks for the pics!

I'm kinda interested in the 'livid' bit, myself, but I will leave discussing it to your discretion.....

That is what I thought as well, the next parade we should have between 15 and 20, and a parade car or something.

Why were some people "livid"?
I think it was the fact that Ron Paul supporters got to put signs on the float, and walk with them. We hope to have our own entry in upcoming parades.

Thanks everybody for the support! (And for the Rep.)

UPDATE! Yesterday I wore my Ron Paul 2012 T-Shirt to the fair, and today I worked the Boy Scout Fair booth. I was sitting there when some people walked by, talking about our group walking in the parade! They said something about how the republicans got really upset over the group walking. They sounded like they couldn't quite figure out why people where upset. =) It is amazing how much of an impact 5 people walking in a parade can have!

Give the other republicans some tissue, maybe if they'd cared enough they get off their ass and promote their big govt choice for POTUS.
