LRC blog says he held Neoconservative views and was ardently anti-Muslim (http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/91915.html)

The apparent mass murderer, instead of being the stereotypical “jihadist,” turns out to be fanatically anti-Muslim and ardently pro-Israel. Indeed, he was much influenced by such neocons as Daniel Pipes. The children he massacred had held a pro-Palestinian rally the day before, and the Norwegian government planned to recognize Palestine and get out of Libya, both acts eliciting the hatred of neocons. As to his religion, he is not exactly a follower of the Prince of Peace, though he may be some sort of Christian rightist or theocon. That is how, as a hater and a killer, he could describe himself as a Christian and a conservative, a Hageeite. (Thanks to Ralph Raico and Gary North)

From Max Blumenthal, the camp was associated with the BDS movement to support Palestinian statehood

Then, the day before Breivik’s terror attack, which he planned long in advance, Norway’s Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Stor visited the Labor Youth camp at Utoya. There, he was met with demands to support the global BDS movement and to support the Palestinian Authority’s unilateral statehood bid. “The Palestinians must have their own state, the occupation must end, the wall must be demolished and it must happen now,” the Foreign Minister declared, earning cheers from the audience.

Yep, he definitely belonged in the Robert Spencer / Pamela Geller / Geert Wilders camp ideologically, he's also praised both Spencer and Wilders. I've linked my blog posts a couple of times already on the forum now, but ah well, they do contain information that's very useful.

http://danielhammarberg.blogspot.com/2011/07/anders-behring-breivik-oslo-shooter-and.html for his ideological stance based on quotes from his writings in Norwegian. Anti-Muslim, pro-Israel, anti-nationalist.
http://danielhammarberg.blogspot.com/2011/07/manifesto-of-anders-behring-breivik-not.html for a link and analysis of his English manifesto, which proves he's very much not a devout Christian in his lifestyle, that's merely an excuse for engaging in a war on Islam.

Children? The youngest was 13, and most were older, many in their early 20s. Teenagers and young adults, yes, children. no. The constant use of the term "children" is just emotional hyperbole.

There were some 10 year old too apparently.

Oslo Bombing: 10-Year-Old Pleads With Norway Shooter

The Telegraph points out an eyewitness account of Friday's Norway shooting, in which a 10-year-old boy told the gunman, "now you've killed my dad. Let us alone."

The episode was recounted by 21-year-old Adrian Pracon who was injured during the attack, according to Varden newspaper in Norway.

Ok, that's a new story, although I'd still say that the headline is emotional hyperbole (once again, told by a 21 year old). Was this ten year old just there with his father, and not as a participant? Perhaps the 13 year old minimum age was based on official attendees. The story doesn't say whether the ten year old was shot, although if he was, it would probably be in the story.

Israel boycott groups in US and some other countries often tend to have liberal jewish groups active in them. If same trend holds in case of BDS in Norway, number of victims could be jewish. I do not know either way, just a guess.
