A blogger for MotherJones has been stalking Dr. Paul as of last week based on his twitter postings. The guy who wrote the article "DC Miser, Galveston Porkmeister", has been taking pictures of Ron Paul's home, been talking to his neighbors, etc.

His twitter account:

Found Paul's retired neighbor Jim Struthwolf mowing his lawn. He takes off his ear plugs and leans against a crepe myrtle to chat. 15 Jul

Personally, I think they can write articles all day about the Spanish moss at the house Ron Paul no longer lives in. The Devil makes use for idle hands.....

the man is using recording equipment and the internet to follow a public official. He must be a terrorist. Where's DHS??

Surely, Ron Paul's stalker will get as much attention and criticism from the neocons as Sarah Palins.

Oh wait. He who shall remain nameless has he who shall rename nameless stalkers.

In fact, Ron Paul, his family, and all of those around him have never existed and we're all delusional.

This is just the beginning... It's gonna get worse.

They are going to sow the seeds of their own defeat. The latest rasmussen polling shows it: Dr. Paul owns the young crowd that is/was the base for these types of outfits. They attack him at their own peril.

Wow! I already noticed that MotherJones had multiple hit pieces on Ron Paul but if this is true then that's just creepy.

And if they're lying about it it's any less creepy? Yet such is the price of fame today.

Mention this guy's stalking of Ron Paul on twitter if you have an account. I have a couple hundred users and just called the guy out. Everyone do the same!

He will learn rather quickly to not mess with Texas, or the wrong Texan.

They're trying to generate any dirt they can. They're hoping Dr. Paul gives them a "macacca moment".

I hope Paul won't be labeled a terrorist if his neighbors rat him out as "acting suspicious" by "jogging alone late at night." Maybe it's because I'm not a professional and don't understand how wearing a particular widely-used consumer watch warrants a person's indefinite stay at Guantanamo Bay, but doesn't an individual of a hostile organization walking up to a prominent US elected official's neighbors, asking them a bunch of questions about his personal life, and analyzing the layout of the elected official's yard warrant a closer look by USG intelligence agencies?

I had assumed someone already posted the article he wrote. It is a complete rehash of the same claims from the media last election about "pork spending" basically. Apparently, writers (and commentors) aren't intelligent enough to really understand how it works. Or they intentionally distort.

Reading this is enough to probably get you somewhat fired up and mad!

Sounds like a closet supporter to me. It's kinda like gay bashing. The loudest ones are under suspicion.

Sorry, all of you guys are pretty much wrong.

This is actually pretty typical these days. Political organizations, both Republican and Democrat, hire people to follow their opponents constantly with recording equipment to try and capture any gaffes they may make with which to use against them later on. This is nothing special, don't worry about it. Read an article on these guys in my local paper a month ago, referring to one in particular who was following Boehner IIRC.

I don't think anybody is "wrong", it's just weird.

It seems like somebody could do 30 minutes of research and find out that Ron Paul has been married for almost 50 years, is faithful to both is wife and his religion, is very humble, eats healthy, wakes up early, exercises, has a garden as well as several other wholesome hobbies that would only serve to inspire people to vote for him. Why would they waste money on a salary for someone to spy on him, even if he is a threat, which the establishment continues to maintain that he is not?
