I was thinking about this today ...

We should contact all the Ron Paul supporters we can and ask this question: "If Ron Paul were to win the Ames Straw poll, would you consider donating to the campaign to fund efforts to win the Iowa caucus, NH, SC and NV primaries?" "Ok, how much do you think you'll be able to donate?"

Get their contact info and the amount their pledge amount. Make Ron win the poll and then contact all the pledgers and cash in.

There are probably just as many supporters out there who are waiting for Ron to "prove himself" as being electable than there are supporters that are active in his campaign.
(through making phone calls to IA I was surprised by the amount of apathy I found amongst RP supporters.)

This could be a way to dip into their pockets and get them involved.
It would help add to the bump Ron Paul would get after winning (media attention? "Ron Paul raises $4million within a month after winning Ames straw poll")

Get them to pledge support, then follow up and make sure they come through.

There doesn't need to be any site for this, though if someone wanted to throw one together that would be cool, we could all do this as individuals.
