China has publicly joined calls for the U.S. to get its financial house in order.

“We hope that the U.S. government adopts responsible policies and measures to guarantee the interests of investors,” Hong Lei, a Foreign Ministry spokesman, said Thursday, according to the New York Times. Lei was asked about a warning from Moody’s that the credit rating agency was prepared to review the U.S. AAA status.

The rich rules over the poor, And the borrower becomes the lender's slave.

They did NOT say raise the debt ceiling. They said pay your creditors. Everyone knows we can do that without raising the debt ceiling. Only Obama and the Democrats PRETEND we can't. However, as Rand has pointed out, we take in quite enough to pay social security and debt and military just on the income we have. It is just that there isn't much left over.

Debt is slavery. Our country has to be awakened again to the moral nature of money. For the past century, we have been living in this value-less secular fairy tale where money is just another morally neutral part of life.

They wouldn't be so hard to wake up if they weren't so stupid.

Public education has done what no one else could, turn smart children into good little taxpaying drones since the early 1900's.

I explain it this way. If you were personally in debt and someone sent you enough credit cards in the mail to pay off your debt, what would the smart thing to do be? Cut down on your lifestyle and cut up those credit card offers? Or go deeper in debt in order to "stimulate" your economy?
