Quite the opposite. A lot of people go into the election both in federal elections, just check of the "R" or the "D" column without any thought of the actual people they are voting for or what they stand for. I know this because I used to do that myself. She's most likely in a heavily democratic district and hasn't faced a serious primary challenger in ages.
