Rick Perry debuts in our national polling at 12%. Will replace Pawlenty in our state level general election polls because T-Paw is now 8th

We are only dropping Pawlenty from our general election polling at the state level, he'll still be in the primary polling.

Ok, so they have angrily stated that Ron needs to "consistently poll top 4 in the GOP field" to be included, yet they kept T-Paw in for the past 3 months. Then, they include Perry in one national poll, and decide that he is worthy of replacing T-Paw instead of Ron, despite not being a declared candidate?

It's obvious they don't like Ron Paul and are annoyed by all the Ron Paul spammers. There's no use complaining since they will not change their mind.

They are avoiding Ron because they know he polls better head to head against Obama than Perry does. Even in their own poll where they finally polled Ron against Obama in his home state of Texas, Ron beat Obama by 5 points, and Perry lost to Obama by 2 points....in TEXAS.

But it is their football, and they are going to play their way.

Let's get Ron Paul polling above 12% nationally, then.

PPP is copying what Rasmussen did last election cycle. In 09, Rasmussen flooded the market with daily polls on almost every race around the country, often slanted quite a bit towards the right. These polls fired up the tea partiers and made conservatives believe they could win some races that they never previously thought they had a chance in. PPP is now trying to build up a reputation by doing the same from the left this go around.

And you can't tell me they aren't polling Paul. I don't believe it. They obviously are but their big employer (Daily Kos) doesn't like what the results are and therefore they aren't releasing them.

bump.

We now have the ammunition to call them out. They said they would begin polling Paul vs. Obama if he were consistently in the top 4 and now he is!

They'll add the hypothetical Thomas Jefferson polling question before they allow Ron in.

It's ok. The other polls are coming our way.

Thought he was already 14%...

in the RCP average, he means. the last two were 10% and now 14%, but there are some older ones with lower percentages in the mix.

Would you prefer for Perry to replace Ron? That's what you seem to be saying.

To keep your thought straight enough to be understood, try using shorter sentences.

Why does the RCP average matter.

Shouldn't the sample size of the latest Gallup poll matter as well. Some of those polls are po-dunk polls.

Harris and Zogby do there polling...from online registration.
