While participating in a panel discussion about new emails purportedly showing "White House Bias" against Fox News, Washington Post editorial writer Charles Lane commented that he'd "like to see the internal emails here at Fox about the Obama administration" as a contrast. Lane is in luck. Internal emails obtained by Media Matters have shown attempts by Fox News executive Bill Sammon to slant news coverage against President Obama and his policies.

Yeah, who would have ever thought that Fox News had any kind of bias? :D

It is funny to see all these media outlets that are dying try to pile on FOX News, the entity that is making their so-called journalism obsolete.

In other news, the world is round.

At least there is Fox Business, so your choices aren't ostensibly binary between MS-NBC/CNN on one side and Fox News on the other.

I don't care what anyone says, I like a lot of Fox Business's programming and hosts.

Lol, mediamatters reporting on bias = a donkey talking about ears.

Everyone is biased. What it really comes down to is audio masturbation. People watch or listen to things that they agree with. They watch O'Reilly opine on subjects that he has no business opining on, just so they can say "That's right. Oh yeah, say it again. One more time, baby! Say it!!". As a result, Fox News keeps it's viewers happy and satisfied by slamming Obama, and mediamatters.org keeps their readers happy and satisfied by slamming Fox News.

I actually think it's a good thing when a news organization is biased against a politician. In fact, they should be biased against them all. I think the problem arises when they favor a politician or party and minimize the faults.

Absolutely correct, but the problem is not that they show negative bias to some, but they tend to pick and choose the winners. Not good.

The only relatively non-biased place I have ever really seen for news is local media. It is actually very difficult to write articles that are non-biased, and it definitely isn't profitable. That's why all of the major news organizations are biased. It's easy, and it pays.

So wait? Because Fox News had internal emails about Obama's references to marxists and socialists in his own book, this is anti-Obama bias? That's not supposed to be reported on or something?

And there's something wrong with saying "government health insurance" instead of "public option"? Isn't "public option" the more propagandist way of putting it?
