It's been hovering at 33k for 2 days now. I know it takes youtube every few hours for them to update the view counter, but the counter has been frozen for way too long. when the views first jumped to 33k, it had roughly 3.5k+ likes, now it has 5k+ and the view counter hasn't updated yet. Reason I'm pissed is because it had potential to be up on the front page. I know this isn't a NWO illuminati reptilizoid conspiracy, but the RP vs Bernanke video seems just fine compared to this one. I noticed that the view counter isn't affected on every video, just certain areas of youtube.

someone sent me this video from alex jones' channel, he seems to have noticed it as well. this is just a heads up to anyone whose noticed this and got pissed off

No, it truly is not moving. I don't know if it is a 'conspiracy' so much as we just don't know what is going on. Maybe it only moves on weekdays? Maybe it has to be reviewed by a human if it goes up at a certain speed sort of like those 'stop trade' safeguards at the NYSE if stocks start falling too fast?

Yes, I would assume that to be the case. most channels are stuck, but this glitch kills the viral possiblity of so many videos.

Youtube gets a lot of spammers who send traffic to videos to promote their video. When a lot of traffic comes to a video, youtube will stop the counter. They want to make sure its real people watching the video. So relax. Go play with some cute kittens

It's not the end of the world. Just post some positive RP posts on FB or something to promote him, or send the campaign 5 bucks.

this happens with most YT vids that get huge traffic early. It WILL update, no worries. Better that the view count be reviewed now, and start gaining momentum leading up to Ames rather than later when more people will be searching for political ads in August.

I will say that the ad is posted in more than one spot as well, so that could be part of the problem.

Yes, I have noticed this too, something is definitely wrong with youtube lately. The "Conviction (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UUNIeOB0whI)" ad had 32,400 views and 1600 comments a little after the first 24 hours as noted here (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?303326-Ron-Paul-quot-Is-gold-money-quot-most-viewed-News-amp-Politics-video-on-YouTube-right-now&p=3398581&viewfull=1#post3398581), then the viewcount barely moved for the next two and a half days, only gaining about a thousand views or so, even though it was still gaining a sh*tload of comments and likes during the same period by an amount which would normally correspond to an increase in viewcount by at least a few tens of thousands. I just noticed in the past few hours though that the viewcount jumped by a few thousand, but it still should be much higher.

I have noticed the same thing on the Ron Paul vs. Bernanke (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2NJnL10vZ1Y) video. On July 15 at 5:13 am ET it had 158.5K views and 3300 comments as also noted here (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?303326-Ron-Paul-quot-Is-gold-money-quot-most-viewed-News-amp-Politics-video-on-YouTube-right-now&p=3398581&viewfull=1#post3398581), yet almost 3 days later it has gained an additional 1800 comments but only 3400 views (at 161,892 now).

I know youtube has always had a delay in updating their viewcounts but I have never seen anything like this. Just something to keep in mind, the viewcounts on those videos are not accurate.

They're happening to all the videos. So calm down alex jones lol. adsense is still counting the views though from what i can tell.

Alex Jones once again bites the hand that feeds him. Google has been allowing him to trash them on a regular basis on their own video site. They've been pretty gracious in not banning him. He's been a real biznitch.
