There are campaign staffers @ RPFs who are essentially liaisons. Post as you will, and they will possibly read it, depending on the amount of stir it has caused and the topic's importance.

Aside from that, there is the -official campaign- and the -grassroots campaign- and FEC rules strictly and quite oppressively regulate how they interact. Getting explicit orders for the grassroots from the official campaign, for example, will not happen. Grassroots basically only have the material published to the general public. What we do with that information is up to us - even to determine whether or not it's valid.

The official campaign cannot do much coordinating with the grassroots as per FEC regulations.

I'm seeing a great deal of evidence that much of our post-mortem analysis of the 2008 campaign, and resultant suggestions for 2012, have been read and acted upon appropriately. Of course all of that occurred before Ron even declared.

Actually from my understanding the campaign is allowed to interact with volunteers, they just can't coordinate independent expenditures.

And if you ever need to get a hold of the campaign's volunteer coordinator, his e-mail address is JerryS@RonPaul2012.com

Yeah there is nothing against the campaign contacting volunteers, the only issues are FEC related and solely financial or financial in question. So the campaign couldn't per se tell the grassroots to buy or not a buy a blimp, but they could say donate for this cause or this is where we need grassroots focus (as long as nothing financial or financially related is discussed).

So the campaign can say we need people to promote CPAC, but cannot ask for the grassroots to print promotional materials without getting it assessed as a donation or repaying for the materials.
