"A federal judge has ordered that whether Google is spying for National Security Agency or not, you have no right to know. EPIC, which brought the lawsuit, says the NSA can neither confirm not deny any relationship with Google. EPIC is worried the 'NSA is developing technical standards that would enable greater surveillance of Internet users.'"

As if Google isn't creepy enough.

If anyone is interested, you could always change youre homepage to https://ssl.scroogle.com instead of Google, unless youre obsessed with this social networking bullshit.

Startpage is another option and still allows you to do image/video searches still.
