I have no clue about this, but I do have an honest question.

Could Glen win the new district as a Democrat?

Won't happen... That would hurt the inroads he's made in the Franklin County GOP. And he's friends with the chairman.

His door-to-door campaigning is priceless. I believe he can overcome most reasonable odds.

Just to let you all know, we have started CAF-PAC, Constitutionalist Alliance Fund. This will help support all our NC candidates that will need financial help. This could also lead to funding for the future US positions that may be in the future. We can do it as long as we have everyone's support. We did it before and we can do it again. I am sure Glen will still be a loud voice during the redistricting sessions. He is a former Marine and mad as hell! Our future is at stake and we all know it.

I disagree with the poster on the other forum who said a Senate run is the best bet. Winning the primary in the 25th is do-able for a motivated candidate and base. The reason is that turnout in primary elections in notoriously poor. If the Franklin base turns out in numbers, the other side will be challenged to do the same....and the Nash folks don't have the motivational factor of being seriously ticked off.

Oh, and by the way, Katy Weatherly Benningfield "liked" this link on Facebook and essentially says you deserve it for not "governing as a Republican" and toeing the Party line like you're supposed to. What an incredibly pleasant person.

The 13th. and about Katy? wow lol. I think something like one quarter of one percent of all Republicans want their reps to just toe the party line. Wonder what she thinks about the new 13th?

Sounds like you've got some internet supporters. Is the gentleman running the Carolina Politics blog a friend of yours? Sounds as if he is willing to at least help you out by posting relevant information to his blog if nothing else.

I think I saw her mention that she's not in the 13th anymore. Other than that, I have no idea.
