He's quite a well known terrorist so the TSA was right to stop him.

actually i'm pretty sure this proves that the TSA is a huge waste of money and an agent of tyranny - even the SecDef is a suspect and needs to be felt up.

Yeah, look at the smile on his face. "Hey, this isn't so bad. I don't mind getting felt-up and you shouldn't either."

Yeah, look at the smile on his face. "Hey, this isn't so bad. I don't mind getting felt-up and you shouldn't either."Not necessarily.... The guy could have been tickling his legs, too.

Exactly. I actually had someone, about an hour ago, point to this picture and say almost this exact thing about it, "see, if even the old SecDef is doing it...":eek:

All this after "explaining" to me how I didn't understand how free I really was.

As I alluded to a couple threads down, the message has been signed sealed and delivered. Freedom is whatever the government says it is now.:(

me too. He'll be asked about it later and will reply with something like, "It was really no big deal. Everyone has to do their part to ensure the safety of the American people." Bleh.

Rumsfeld's tweet 7/14:

“It takes those of us with two titanium hips and a titanium shoulder a bit longer to get through TSA…,”

Is that a grimace, or a smile on Rum's face?

Well, regardless, welcome to the least common denominator Rummy... Thanks for your contributions towards the deterioration of our liberties.

Yes, he does seem to be enjoying it. I'll bet he doesn't get that at home.

It's probably the only way he get's any attention in those areas.

It is kind of ironic, and sweet justice. But it proves how out of control the TSA is. How likely is it, that Donald Rumsfeld would blow up an airliner?!?!

I dunno, maybe they know something we don't. Could it be they believe he has done it before?

It's a point. Blowing up anything less than whole countries is hardly worth his time.
