We've had threads on celebs that endorced or liked RP, but none on republican celebs. Maybe it would be worth reaching out to these people.

note particularly:
Kane the wrestler supported Ron Paul
Emma Caulfield, "I would never fully admit to being a Republican in this town", she told Premiere magazine, "I want to work."; voted for John Kerry in the 2004 election [5] Supported Ron Paul in the 2008 primaries, later said she supported Obama, but then she was critical of him before the election, may have voted McCain.
Kurt Russell, libertarian but votes Republican [citation needed]
Larry Elder - Libertarian

I think we need to reach out to NASCAR drivers, past and present, but most likely retired drivers as they don't have to worry about conflicting sponsors. Almost all of them are Republicans. Mitt Romney has been courting NASCAR for a while because he needs to win the south. So do we.

Libertarian (picking up from a list, so they need to be confirmed):

Clint Eastwood (way too old)
Kurt Russell
Dennis Leary
John Stossel
David Letterman
Gene Simmons
Howard Stern
Jason Alexander
Jeff Foxworthy
Keanu Reeves

Chris Rock seems to be a complete political wild card.

Way too old for what? We're not looking for a VP, we're looking for endorsements. Eastwood would be great.

Who is Chuck Norris endorsing?
How about Steve Forbes?
Jim Rogers?
Barry Goldwater, Jr.?
Jim Sinclair?
I wonder if we could get some country-western stars, this time around? That would play well in the bible-belt.

Maybe you're right. I just don't want to put any strain on the guy.

Dr. Phil could be a possibility.

How about rockers? I think a combination of rockers and country singers would be great.

Muse is libertarian, but they don't like to get too involved. I think they feel they would alienate fans, which is understandable.

Meat Loaf? I think he is either GOP or libertarian.

I think Metallica may be libertarian leaning, as a whole.

Jim Rogers?

He made a contribution to Ron Paul's congressional campaign recently:
