Anyone else see the irony here? These are the same people who dedicate enormous resources to hunting down 100 year old individuals who committed war crimes during WW2.

Well, that Palestinian family can always move to the USA, where the excuses are weaker.
If this is what they have against Israel, maybe that whole "they treat us like subhumans" thing doesn't hold any merit.
I mean, our cops do it to ex NFL stars and there's never even an investigation, so WTF are they complaining about?

n a highly critical ruling, Israel's High Court described the police investigation into the girl's death as a "sordid affair" that had been both "sloppy" and "negligent" and ordered the state to pay the family's legal costs.

But it backed an earlier decision not to charge two border policemen allegedly involved in her death, in part because of the difficulty of conducting an investigation so long after the incident in the absence of fresh evidence.

Sounds like a fucked up case. But doesn't sound like the actions of a country that is "conducting ethnic cleansing" or any of the other ridiculous stuff I hear on these forums.
