Is there a link someone can provide that explains how competing currencies would work?

basically, you can't compete with federal reserve notes now or you are thrown in jail, and meanwhile if you hold gold to protect yourself against government (Fed) created inflation you are taxed on the 'gain' when you sell it. If people were allowed to use gold and silver as legal tender, they'd stop using fed notes unless the govt stopped inflating. Because inflation would only apply to the fed notes.

Ron helped advise the Mexican government in how to set it up so in MEXICO people can hold their bank savings in silver, so it won't depreciate (inflation) because Mexican currency has been through this multiple times. Now Mexicans can do it, but we still can't.

What happens when you refresh the page? Sometimes the number doesn't change instantly. It should say "you and x other people like this"

And thank you!

Do you have a link for more information on this?

I can probably find it, it isn't secret or anything....

he discusses the program here, but not that he gave advice on it, but I'll find it: http://www.thestreet.com/story/11157398/2/how-ron-paul-would-fix-the-economy.html

I'm not finding it fast. I've seen it several times though, and I BELIEVE he wrote about it in Revolution - a Manifesto. Sorry, I'll look again later, he is just so tied to gold and silver that searches turn up too much that isn't on point.

Yeah, we were looking into the cost of that before we started the end of quarter push, and put it off. It is a good use of money. Black and white isn't my favorite, though, but I get the feeling I'm in the minority on that.

I'm pretty new to it also and could be wrong but I think it wouldn't let me click 'like' until I completed some more of my profile information (I didn't use my real info).

I wasn't doubting the veracity. I just wanted more information on the Mexican system and Ron Paul's connection so I can tell others about it. Okay, HONESTLY, I want to shame them by pointing out that even Mexico gets it.
