**I really hope these terms don't apply to RPF :D

11. Content license from you

11.1 You retain copyright and any other rights you already hold in Content which you submit, post or display on or through, the Services. By submitting, posting or displaying the content you give Google a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute any Content which you submit, post or display on or through, the Services. This license is for the sole purpose of enabling Google to display, distribute and promote the Services and may be revoked for certain Services as defined in the Additional Terms of those Services.

11.2 You agree that this license includes a right for Google to make such Content available to other companies, organizations or individuals with whom Google has relationships for the provision of syndicated services, and to use such Content in connection with the provision of those services.

11.3 You understand that Google, in performing the required technical steps to provide the Services to our users, may (a) transmit or distribute your Content over various public networks and in various media; and (b) make such changes to your Content as are necessary to conform and adapt that Content to the technical requirements of connecting networks, devices, services or media. You agree that this license shall permit Google to take these actions.

11.4 You confirm and warrant to Google that you have all the rights, power and authority necessary to grant the above license.

Not sure what the problem is here. It's not talking about personal details, it's talking about things that you post just as this forum itself has very similar TOS (as do most).

I dont think RPF admin will sell your information to third party. They are not going to take your post, email address, IP, username and share that information with third party.

The idea that your pictures, email address, posts, comments are owned by Google and can be sold to others is just wrong. Google has just announced that if your Google+ profile stays private, they will delete it by July 30. I understand not everyone cares about privacy but they should not be selling your stuff or sharing with third parties.

As I stated, it's the posted content, not your personal details. Content would be the text of this thread, not your email address. It also says that Google does not own it but is licensing it from you...you still own it.

What good is "owning" your content if the world's largest publisher can print and distribute as many copies as it wants whenever it wants to whomever it wants for no royalty to you?

What is means is that if you posted a pretty sunset picture on Google+ and then wanted to sell that picture to Corbis or Photostock, you still can. And at the same time, Google+ could not sell the same picture.

As I said before, this is pretty standard fair for all socially interactive services. I'll even post some of the TOS details from here.
"The site staff may, in extreme and rare cases that are carefully considered, privately share a single piece of information so long as there is no possible perceived damages that could result. Law enforcement operating with a court order will have information provided to them as required by law."

Pretty much the same thing just without the legal speak.
