Need a quick answer. I understand the Definition of mundane but i don't know why the word is used so much on the forums. Is there some wonderful book or something that i have just missed out on? Did i miss something?

I see the term used here a lot.

My opinion is that it makes us look odd, arrogant, and/or creepy to casual visitors to the site.

Nah. It's not that bad. We look odd enough by believing in liberty.

You mean like when i come across anime? Its practically half the internet and all i can think when i see it is how creepy and odd the people who post it must be. Never got the whole anime thing.

Try it now. Type in the 1st word that comes to mind and go to images. Anime will be part of it.

I will take credit for, or plead guilty to, depending on your point of view, for bringing the term "Mundane" to the forum.

It is shamelessly plagiarized from the great Will Grigg at his Pro Libertate web site.

It fits perfectly, as far as I'm concerned.

It precisely describes how government and it's enforcers view all of us.

Some synonyms include: Prole, Comrade, Citizen, "the great unwashed", Plebeian or commoner.

Others have seemed to agree and have run with the term.

I think only serial killers and pedophiles like anime.

Then we agree

If you consider serial killers and pedophiles, both "creepy and odd"; then yes we agree.

i always associated mundanes to the group of people in the book 1984 who didnt have to be monitored by the police state because they blindly followed whatever there government said so long as they got there government handouts
