This story is six years old, and the liberals have spun it into something other than what it was. The courts ruled that the station ( a Fox affiliate, and not Fox News) retained the right not to broadcast anything that it chose not to broadcast. They paid of disgruntled reporters whining that their editors wouldn't air a story *they* thought was important to terminate their contracts.

Wilson, one of the reporters on the story, even admitted that there was no scientific evidence to support the allegations in the report. But by all means, lets choose to believe in the conspiracy theories.

This is why we'll never win elections. This has nothing to do with general politics, getting Ron Paul elected, or even current events. There's really no reason at all for it to be posted yet again.

The heart of the story was and is, regardless of the right of the affiliate to not run a story, that there is a LOT of corporate pressure put on news media outlets to dissuade them of covering stories that are critical of industry practices. How much have you really heard that is critical of flouride, GMO foods, fructose, MSG etc., apart from the alternative media? It's an open secret that many local papers never run stories scrutinizing the real estate industry, because RE advertising is crucial to their revenue. Pointing out famous examples of this tendency is relevant for general politics, though it would have been helpful if this particular story had included an update, instead of just a summary of the past case.
