"Different poll. The straw poll ,A reaction poll, done immediately after the debate showed R.P. at 0%. The CNN poll of which you use, was a different non-scientific poll. One in which rabid RonPaulBots were able to cast multiple votes. The very same thing happened in '08 where such polls would show R.P. leading by a wide margin, then he would garner less than 6% of the primary electorate. I expect a repeat performance. Obnoxious R.P. conspiracy nut supporters, a ridiculous blimp and comically convoluted Ron Paul speeches"

he is talking about this poll.

The poll Ron got 0% in was conducted by 56 party INSIDERS.

RP is an outsider, of course none of them voted for him.

I need some proof like a link or something to show him it was only conducted by 56 people.

Easily refuted facts? check.

Misrepresenting unfavorable stats for Paul? check.

Calling us names? check.

Not being able to understand Paul's speeches? check.

Sounds like an establishment-paid commenter to me.

So go look for it, it shouldn't be hard to find it said it right on the national review page that was cited.

The National Journal Political Insiders Poll is a regular survey of political operatives, strategists, campaign consultants, and lobbyists in both parties. Below are the names of the Republican and Democratic Insiders who were surveyed for the debate:

Ok, I was bored and was waiting on my computer to finish processing something so I did it for you.

The probability of having someone as popular as Ron Paul at 0% in a legitimate poll is essentially 0.

sorry guys, I found it before you posted the link, but all he did was just give me other polls of Ron Paul losing.

EDIT: I just told him to consider liberals as well, not just republicans since they have a much larger vote.

It's not our fault the majority of neocon supporters haven't figured out how the internet works yet.

Dont worry, if Ron Paul does not win, he can always try to get the other candidates to change their view towards his ideas.

So what? There are polls of everyone losing. There are also polls of Ron winning, as in the May 5 CNN poll where he polled better against Obama than anyone, and the PPP poll of head to head races in Texas (an OPEN primary state) a week ago where Ron won against Obama by 5 points, and Perry lost against Obama by 2 points IN TEXAS. (PPP did an accompanying 'GOP Primary poll' there but only with GOP, and Ron's strength there is much more with independents who are independent specifically because they don't like the party establishment, and you can vote in the primaries anyhow, in Texas. I'm sure that is the one they will put in the RCP average because it is 'national' never mind that they polled the wrong voter population.)

If the guy is just against Ron, you aren't going to sway him, but there is a lot of material showing he has a good chance if people who support him get behind him.

Hope not. I think you posted a useful thread, here. And I knew you were too quick for me. Consider that a Public Service Announcement. :)

This just in:

Poll conducted by Bosso Polls, LLC revealed that geargemartin is an obnoxious, GOP conspiracy nut, war mongering, communist-funded debt spending, treasonous establishment bag lapper who could not possibly be more irrelevant. (Poll consisted of asking Bossobass what he thinks of geargemartin's comments on political polls and Ron Paul).
