I was just wondering what if Ron donated some of his possessions from over the years to an entity and that entity put the stuff up for auction. Could people bid $20,000 for a Ronald Reagan autographed picture or a baseball cap? Would auction purchases be counted as campaign contributions?

Great idea. Doubt it would happen though.

The campaign doesn't understand how big one RP auction could be. People are OBSESSSED (in a good way) with Ron.

I would pay a ridiculous amount for a RP signed Constitution! They could make SO MUCH off this type of auction.

Maybe he can do this when he retires after his second term as President, and donate the proceeds to charity.

That makes me realize something. Don't throw away everything the campaign mails you, keep it, keep it all and try to keep it in mint condition........because if Ron Paul wins the presidency then the campaign donation letters will have some value and you could keep them for yourself and cash in on them for a rainy day especially far into the future.
