I'll have to watch later, but I did read just recently that graduates from college now predominantly don't have CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS. They have rote knowledge, but not tools to analyse whether emotional information given to them is accurate or not. Absolutely the topics you name were the foundation of western civilization, that and philosophy and history.

Great guys! Please educate yourselves and pass around this information. This is HUGE. We were supposed to have a classical liberal arts education (just like the founding fathers!) but it was systematically removed. That's why the public is easily manipulated and brainwashed. But we can learn the skills that the elites use in order to protect ourselves and to weed out the propaganda.

OK, how about a “trivium for dummies” that explains how the second and third aren’t basically the same? I mean isn’t “the thing as-it-is-symbolized by grammar” basically the same as “the thing as-it-is-communicated”? I always thought the main purpose of grammatical symbolism was communication.
