It seems that in one interview after another the interviewer begins by introducing Ron Paul as a Libertarian or libertarian leaning... yadda, yadda, yadda. I see this as a big problem as a substantial number of people consider Libertarians as wack jobs to be dismissed. Their assertion (veiled, but not well) is that RP is a wacko with ideas too far outside the norm to be taken seriously.
Suggestion: In any such reference RP should state "well, of course I am a Republican"... and then go immediately into another subject or answer a given question so as to avoid any discussion on the Libertarian question. Do not try to contend with the assertion... just say "I am a Republican" and move on. Or, take it a step further... respond to the interview by saying "Well, I certainly agree with you that I support the ideas of liberty and, as a member of the Republican Party, hope that all Americans can see our liberties restored"... then, move on to another subject.
