I know that it wasn't working earlier today ehan i was trying to donate but it came back an hour or two later. Man, What are they going to do on Nov. 5th when thousands of people try to donate.

I bet they got a good surge of people that just came away from watching the Tonight Show interview.

I hope this isn't some sort of sabotage from an outside source. I guess that is the paranoid part of me.

Use the Google Cache version of the homepage... (http://209.85.165.104/search?q=cache:LtbIeJhovbUJ:www.ronpaul2008.com/+ron+paul&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=us&client=safari)

Those guys need to get their acts together on the web page. They are loosing thousands of potential supporters right now. Someone should at least be monitoring it when big events like today happen.

Might have been hacked. The rest of the pages work but the home page. Or it could be that the home page is on a different server and it is overloaded.

The only thing that seems to be down is the front page with the statue... the rest of the page works, so it's not a big deal.

Or maybe they purposefully took down the homepage because that was causing the most overload (bandwidth because of the flash applications - the statue for donations).

Right, they removed it, possibly to cut bandwidth usage... , it's easy to load balance a web site, I could get it done this minute in about 5 minutes and host the flash app in my data center. :P
