No foolin’. Ron Paul’s take, for comparison purposes? $4.5 million.

The question is HOW? And WHO?

My guess?

There must be enough people who think he's going to end up in some position in some future administration that will be making decisions on how their industry will operate. And since they want those decisions to be favorable, they need to be the ones who can say, "Remember when nobody else cared about you???"

Now since Paul will not make favorable decisions for corporations, (in fact, he won't make any decision, since it's not the proper role fo government) he loses out on these big corporate donations. But what I don't get??? There must be a corporation somewhere that just wants the government's involvement to end, right? Right?

They can't ALL want government to keep out their competition, can they? All of them?!

Im damn surprised he raised that much. There's no hubbub over Pawlenty. He's weak sauce. Can't wait to see his FEC numbers on opensecrets.org

The question is HOW? And WHO?

You are missing the story. The story is that he did NOT raise much. He raised less than Ron Paul despite being the "mainstream" establishment candidate from the beginning. Outside of Ron Paul focused websites, "T-Paw" gets a lot more push and way more mention and love from the mainstream money people. Everyone failed in comparison to RP.
